CallQualityTest.com is owned and operated by Names For Sale LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information the site handles and how.
1. Running the tests
The tests run as JavaScript in your browser. To measure your connection, your browser contacts outside test services directly. Like any website, those services receive your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. We don't receive or store the individual test traffic.

2. Camera and microphone
The Microphone & Headset Test and Video Call Test ask your browser for permission to use your microphone and camera. Audio and video are processed only on your device. Nothing is recorded to a server, uploaded or shared. The 5-second echo recording stays in your browser's memory and is discarded when you leave the page. You can revoke permission any time in your browser's site settings.
3. Information stored in your browser
The site saves your most recent test results in your browser's local storage (named cqt_last, and cqt_cmp for the Wi-Fi vs Wired Test) so they can pre-fill the MOS calculator and the contact form. This stays on your device and is not sent to us unless you submit the form. You can clear it by clearing this site's data in your browser, or with the Clear results button on the comparison test. The site itself sets no cookies.
4. The contact form
If you send the form, we receive what you enter: name, email, phone, ZIP code, company, number of users, topic, current provider, your description, and any test results in the results box. The form is delivered through Formspree and emailed to the people who answer it at Names For Sale LLC and Infotel Systems. We use it only to respond to your request and follow up about it. We don't sell it, rent it or share it for advertising. We may keep it as a business record of the request.
5. Web server logs
Our web host automatically records standard server logs — IP address, pages requested, date and time, browser type and referring page — and produces traffic statistics from them. We use these to run and secure the site and to understand overall traffic.
6. Your choices
- You can use every test without giving us any personal information.
- You can deny camera and microphone permission; the rest of the site still works.
- To ask what contact-form information we have about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, use the contact form or call 804-222-8009.
7. Children
This site is intended for adults and businesses. It is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please don't put passwords, account numbers or other sensitive details in the contact form.
9. Changes
We'll post any changes here and update the effective date above.
